Swami Ganga Giri Janta Girls College Raikot, celebrated the festive spirit of Basant Panchami held on 16th february, 2021.

Various competitions – Miss Basant, Non-Fire Cooking Competition, Kite Flying and Quiz (Related to Basant Panchmi) were organised by Music Department. Students enthusiastically participated and were dressed in traditional colours of the season. 

Principal Dr. Rajni Bala, Swami Ganga Giri Janta Girls College Raikot, was given a warm welcome by Prof.  Mrs. Sarla Saggar,  the HOD of Music department and the host of the event, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Gulati. Principal Mam congratulated the Music department for the successful event to mark an age old tradition and crowned Jashanpreet Kaur (Commerce)  Miss Basant. In Non Fire Cooking Competition, Vanshita Sohal and Harleen Kaur bagged first position. In Kite Flying competition, Chahat bagged first position.

The Principal of the college Dr. Rajni Bala motivated the students to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicated efforts as a promising & flourishing human harvest.
