Clebrated National Sports Days As 'Virasati Khedan'

The college celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm by organizing Virasati Khedan, a vibrant event dedicated to promoting traditional Punjabi sports and cultural heritage. The day also commemorates the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, one of India’s greatest hockey players.

The celebration began with an inaugural ceremony where the Principal addressed the students, highlighting the importance of sports in maintaining physical fitness and preserving cultural traditions. Faculty members and students gathered in large numbers to witness and participate in the event.

A variety of traditional games were organized as part of Virasati Khedan, including Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, tug of war, Rumaal chukna, stepoo and other indigenous sports. Students actively participated in these events with great zeal and sportsmanship. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, cheers, and a strong sense of unity among participants.
